The Best Wood for Boy Scout Hacks

This Lime Tree Set was purchased for my son's Boy Scout Den. We appreciate the smooth basswood carving for beginners. The way the wood is cut allows for multiple projects. You will receive 8 pieces long enough for young scouts to safely manipulate and cut with their jackknives. Ideal size for practicing planing long and thin figures. The two large pieces in this set were cut into small blocks with my band saw to make slides for the bandana. The pieces also have a great woody smell instead of a protective chemical coating.
