These lights are great! I have 4 of these in our bedroom for mood lighting. I connected them to their own wall switch. I like that they retain their previous setting when turned off. So if you set them all to red and turn off the light, they will still be red the next day when you turn on the light. I also like that you can adjust each light individually. In addition, the IR sensor is integrated into the front cover of the flashlight, so you don't have to worry about finding a place for a wired IR sensor. Another interesting thing is that all these types of light sources respond to the same frequency. . So if you even have an RGB LED bulb with a remote control (even if it's a different brand), most likely the remote control of that bulb will work for those bulbs. So don't worry about losing remote controls - it seems like a dime a dozen. The only thing I would change is that it would be nice to have thicker wires to make installation a little easier. Also note that on a TCL TV, the light sometimes reacts to the TV's remote control (it took me forever to figure that out).
