I just received the package and it is definitely NOT OEM. This is a fake Subaru OEM filter with all the labels saying Subaru, Made in Japan, Denso, Sakamoto etc. I got it for a 2015 WRX. In terms of quality, it is somewhat comparable to my OEM filter. The plastic case is solid but still flexes a bit compared to the real OEM which is solid. The filter section is much softer and compresses with little pressure, while the OEM filter is much thicker and doesn't flex as much. UPDATE: After 3000 miles I noticed a weird engine stutter at low rpm around 2K-3K. Now I'm going back to the OEM because the filter cracked in the middle. Just buy an OEM or well-known after-sales brand. It is NOT worth the $6 savings over OEM.
