This is a much more solid inverter than I expected. This thing is a beast right out of the box. It's heavy and larger than expected, but also seems very well made/assembled. I'm new to using inverters and solar panels (I use one to keep my battery charged). I have a much smaller (in size) 1500w inverter and got it as a backup. As far as I can tell I will be using this one as the primary and the other as a backup. I use it when camping as I go several times a year. The instructions say to use a 200Ah battery so I'm a bit concerned as I only have an 80Ah AGM style deep cycle RV battery with a 30W solar panel to power the batteries to keep charged. I don't use it when high capacity is required and if I understand correctly everything affects the usage time. I use this sparingly and only a few times a day, maybe 15 minutes at a time so I'm hoping all is well as I haven't tested it yet. I really like this inverter and we'll see if I've bitten off more than I can chew with this setup.
