Review on ๐Ÿ”’ Terra Hiker Coiling Bike Chain Lock with 5-Digit Combination, Keyless Design for Optimized Bicycle Security by Chris Sandridge

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far so good, good for sport

The main problem is that the chain may not be thick enough. I'm used to using a chain that is at least 10 mm thick on my bike. Since I'll be cycling through Manhattan, I'll have to use thicker chains. I once used a cable lock in Manhattan. Then one afternoon in Rockefeller Center my bike was stolen. The ropes are so fragile. Thieves can cut it open and steal the bike in seconds. I was a little concerned if this would happen when using chains less than 10mm thick. But I wanted to use a combination lock because my chain was useless since I lost the key. no combination lock with 10mm chain. So I tried that. Last Friday I brought my bike to work and locked it at my company. And the bike was still chained to the bike rack when I left work. This makes me feel safe using it in Manhattan.

Pros
  • Chain locks
Cons
