Review on BD Diesel Performance 1050226 Fuel by Jon Booth

First let me explain why I did not give this kit five stars. Although this pump comes as a complete kit, they will send you the parts you need to install it where they see fit. I bought this kit because I realized that Dodge cheated and left the Cummins supplied lift pump on the side of the block to simplify the assembly line. Almost all fuel pumps are designed to pump fuel rather than draw it in. So I choose this kit to reduce the stress on the factory booster pump. BD Diesel demonstrated the placement of the pump on an internal rail frame in front of the fuel tank. This still requires the pump to pump fuel through a pipeline nearly five feet long. I moved it outside of the frame just in front of the leaf spring. At this point the put is as close as possible and you need to stretch the line less than two feet. This required lengthening the wiring harness and an additional five feet of fuel line. Plus, everything you need is included. The instructions were pretty good and there were phone numbers for tech support. Definitely recommend this set to everyone.
