This kit contains everything you need to replace your ECO and Thermistor. There were no instructions included with my kit, but I really don't need them to install these replacement parts. For those who don't know, ECO and each thermistor have their own size blade terminals. The wiring on your water heater will be similar, so once you're done it's virtually impossible to hook up the wrong wires. Just pay attention to the spade size and you'll be fine. One more note, if you're just replacing one of these and can't figure out which of the two new parts is the ECO or the thermistor, simply compare the numbers on the back of the old part to the new ones. They are both different. Or just check the lugs that connect to both components and determine which lug size fits which cable. Make sure the clear rings are rotated so the sensors stay under the tabs on the plate they will be inserted into. You'll know you're done when the sensors are flush against the tank wall and pressure is held by a spring and retaining ring. Finally, clean the panel wall before attaching the protective foam cover. This ensures better water resistance.
