Excitement… Frustration…

This was my first experience with an electric torque wrench and I cannot describe how excited I was about it. Having used the manual click type for years, I've always envied people who had electronic ones. But my excitement was soon drowned out by vague instructions in the manual, and one of my turn signals didn't work. There are many options with this torque wrench, one of which is a set of presets. But the instructions in the manual are very confusing, but after a while I decided I had figured out the basic functions. But there are so many options that it was very difficult for me to navigate the random characters and words on the screen. I'll spend some more time figuring out how to use it properly, but the last thing I want to do is get myself in trouble with the wrong torque setting. When I first started using this torque wrench I noticed that one of the gauges was not working. -Function. It lives where one of the bolts holds the torque wrench together and would be a good indicator if it's working... Also, during use I noticed that the proud buttons are pretty easy to press while running. Which then prompted me to stop my work to ensure all settings were correct... Delayed progress. So, after much excitement and many emotional decodings, I was left with disappointment. I went back to my clicking torque wrench out of frustration, but when I've calmed down I'll try again. If anything changes in the future I will come back and edit this post.
