So I got it today and quickly checked the freshly vacuumed carpet. It worked pretty well and the general build quality seems good. Coming from a recently deceased Dyson Pet & Allergy model. I'm not at all disappointed with the Shark - in fact I think it outperforms the Dyson in many ways. I look forward to making full use of this device. The reason for the star deduction is that the advertising for this model was misleading and made the customer believe that they were getting more than what was in the box. For example, I didn't get a cart for the "elevated" system to park on and essentially turn into a canister vacuum. This was one of the main features I was looking for and thought it would be in this model. I'm not perfect so maybe I missed it somewhere in the description but it feels like the description page could have been made clearer. For example maybe you only offer this particular model on the site and don't have any other models to choose from as I think this may have caused my confusion as the description and reviews included accessories that were not in my model. I now try to find the accessories I like and buy them separately. Overall I'm happy with the vacuum cleaner so far, only disappointed that it doesn't have everything I expected.
