A month ago I used a similar device but it was out of stock so I was looking for a cheap handheld barcode scanner. I went for it, the price was right and I decided to give it a try. Compared to the scanner I used before, it scanned much faster, I scanned the same types of barcodes and it only took me a few scans to get used to the faster scanning speed. I've tested both wired and wireless scanning and both work as expected. The "B" side of the USB cable has an extra piece of plastic that fits snugly into the base of the handle, but I think a regular USB AB cable should work just fine. Scanner settings based on the barcodes included in the manual. The only downside I give this scanner but not a sufficient rating is that the USB wifi adapter is very small and if you plan to use it in different places. a good candidate for getting lost, so be careful. Overall I am satisfied with the value for money of this scanner. If you're looking for a basic scanner, this one deserves serious consideration.
