I teach adults with special needs professional skills and many basic practices of scanning items with a price tag. I ordered it for them to practice with and it helped a lot. It was easy to set up and connect to my laptop - I love that it can be used wirelessly so they can use it without being at my desk. The charge lasts a whole school day and is comfortable to hold and easy to use. I'm glad it was cheap as I had to pay for it myself.

I got it for a database prototype and it suits my needs perfectly. Plug it in and it's scanning right out of the box. I've tried different types (3 out of 9, UPC, Post) and everything works great. I've only used wireless once just to make sure it works and this seems to work for about 50-60 feet indoors as well. It'll probably keep working, but that's about all I did before I ran out of space.

A month ago I used a similar device but it was out of stock so I was looking for a cheap handheld barcode scanner. I went for it, the price was right and I decided to give it a try. Compared to the scanner I used before, it scanned much faster, I scanned the same types of barcodes and it only took me a few scans to get used to the faster scanning speed.
