These things really light up the body of my truck. I have a tonneau cover over the bed and a black splash guard. Looking in at night was like looking into a black hole. Light is really important. The adhesive seemed to hold well, but I've heard it may not hold well in the summer heat with sprayed linens on. They are equipped with 4 plastic mounts in case the glue doesn't work. I don't think that will be enough and I will probably have to order more. I've found a few clips that work for less than $10, but you buy them in packs of 100. The problem with the retaining clips cost the manufacturer one star (just because I can't give them 4.5 stars). If they contain 10-12 retainers I would give them 5 stars. You will most likely need to purchase additional cable as well. I wanted my headlights to be connected to the truck's headlights, which means a cable is routed back into the cab. I suspect they expect the wires to be connected to the taillights because the positive and negative wires are fairly short. Overall I am very satisfied and will order again.
