Review on SCSN Suspension Air Compressor Pump W/Valve Block 37206789938 For 2007-2013 X5 E70 by Brad Dotson

The seller sent me a compressor complete with fittings and screws) that was completely different from the one shown in the ad and was supposed to fit my 2008 BMW X5 E70. I went ahead and asked Revain for a replacement, emphasizing that I need a compressor like the one shown in the photos in the ad. I received a replacement compressor and to my great disappointment it was the same as the one the seller sent me the first time. As my car was stripped down I couldn't wait any longer for another compressor so I used the compressor and valve from the package and all the bolts and fittings from my old compressor. Another issue: I noticed that the color code on the valve was red (for the air line) and not blue. I went ahead and connected the red air line to the red fitting on the valve. The result was; the rear of my BMW has risen unevenly (one side is high and the other low, everything is tilted). I quickly disconnected the air lines from the valve and depressurized the air springs. I swapped the air lines to the valve and that fixed the uneven air distribution. I then put a blue sticker on the red dot on the valve for future reference. I don't know if the reverse order of colors on the valve indicates that the wrong compressor and valve were sent to me, just a warning if you buy one of these be aware of this issue. The compressor and valve work fine and pump the air springs, but the compressor is a bit noisier than the one I replaced. I hope this is helpful.
