Review on πŸ”₯ Fellow Stagg Pour-Over Kettle - Gooseneck Teapot with Precision Pour Spout, Built-In Thermometer, Matte Black, 1 Liter by Todd Stovall

Revainrating 1 out of 5

After a few uses the inside of the kettle was stained (I only boil filtered water), after that I wiped the inside of the kettle with a clean cloth and it looks like there might be some kind of coating inside.

It takes about 10-12 minutes to boil water on an induction stovetop and less than 2 minutes on an induction-compatible pot. The paint has melted leaving traces of varnish on the stove. Then I noticed that the water vapor also smelled chemically. After a few uses the inside of the kettle was stained (I only boil filtered water), after which I wiped the inside of the kettle with a clean cloth and it looks like a coating inside has started to burn. It's visually beautiful and the proportions are balanced, but it doesn't look like it was extensively tested before release. I threw mine in the trash as I don't know what chemicals or metals might get into the water in the pot.
