The handle has melted! best in kitchen and dining room

This kettle does not pour well. flies out of the nose. Maybe it's because I live at an altitude and the desired temperature coincides with our boiling point. Yesterday I also noticed that the handle was sticking to the boiler body. There is no phone number to contact the company. Let's see how they react to my problem via email. An absolute disappointment for a kettle at this price!

I like this kettle but

I like this kettle but as others have said the thermometer sensor broke even though I handled it with kid gloves. I contacted the company for a replacement. I was told by the NP that they would send it to me. Never came here. Other than that, I love the kettle, the design and the elegance. I only wish the company would improve on this dim thermometer. I'd love to replace it, but haven't seen ones that thin that would fit through a tiny handle. Damned. I didn't return it as I like the kettle…

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • No instructions

I've had this kettle for a few weeks. I have the black model. Looks great and flows very well. However, there is one big problem: the handle is made of flammable plastic and reaches close to the burner. It should almost melt. I'm sure they should get regular requests to replace melted grips. There is another serious problem that can only affect black teapots. The coating is not heat resistant. After just a few applications, the lower third and the roots are discolored. After a year of use it…

Good cookware upgrade

This rating is for the copper finish. I originally bought a Gator coffee maker which was a cheaper design, rattled on an induction cooktop and then broke the handle after one use. This product is of much higher quality. The workmanship seems flawless. I appreciate that the inside is mostly seamless (unlike many others) with a small seam where the spout joins. The handle is welded so you don't have to worry about it coming off. The plastic part of the handle appears to be "rubberized" plastic…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Negative gift

It takes about 10-12 minutes to boil water on an induction stovetop and less than 2 minutes on an induction-compatible pot. The paint has melted leaving traces of varnish on the stove. Then I noticed that the water vapor also smelled chemically. After a few uses the inside of the kettle was stained (I only boil filtered water), after which I wiped the inside of the kettle with a clean cloth and it looks like a coating inside has started to burn. It's visually beautiful and the proportions are…

Overall a good product missing parts

Let me start by saying this is one of the best kettles I've had but there are still some design flaws that can be fixed. .- The kettle is designed to be used with the Fellow ECG machine as a power source. Heating with natural gas or electricity can cause overflow at maximum level. It's not ideal in a cramped workspace. The maximum level indicator is not positioned well. I don't know why the decision was made to hide this on the opposite side of the handle, but it's counterintuitive. It's also…

Great kettle, still some work to do

As a new coffee maker I've tried experimenting with a range of appliances in search of the perfect cup of coffee. I first bought a Hario Buono and liked it, but found the water lost temperature very quickly and the pouring speed was a bit sluggish at times due to the gooseneck being too big. I watched some videos of the Stagg kettle and decided to give it a try. First, the Stagg appears to be made from better materials than most kettles without anything like the high-end Takahiro or Kalita. The

The handle WILL NOT MELT!

I had a strong desire to correct some of the negative reviews in which I complained about the handle melting when this kettle was heated on a gas stove, claims I made to think the manufacturer is unfair and frankly angry. These are people who don't understand the connection between plastic and fire. As with any other type of plastic, if you burn the handle of this teapot with a flaming flame, it will melt. Unless you burn the handle of this teapot with a living flame, it will not melt. The…
