I've had this kettle for a few weeks. I have the black model. Looks great and flows very well. However, there is one big problem: the handle is made of flammable plastic and reaches close to the burner. It should almost melt. I'm sure they should get regular requests to replace melted grips. There is another serious problem that can only affect black teapots. The coating is not heat resistant. After just a few applications, the lower third and the roots are discolored. After a year of use it must look terrible. So I think it's a great kettle as long as you keep it away from a heat source - so it's not great for heating water!
