I think I have this for a slightly different purpose than most. I have two teenage sons who tend to play online games a little more than I would like, even in their free time. I can't control them all the time, so I'll let this timer do it for me. I connected our router to it and the timer turns it off at 1am and back on at 6am every night. So the games end at 01:00, no question. When I first programmed it that way, the next day I was told that something was wrong with the WiFi network. I looked very confused and said how weird it was that I was dealing with this and chuckled to myself. But they soon realized what I was up to. ;). At least they go to bed at a decent hour now. Once school starts, it turns off at 10:00 am. The timer is very easy to program and does exactly what I need it to do. Great little gadget.
