Review on Bernat POP! 5oz Hot Chocolate Yarn - Medium Weight (Gauge 4), 100% Acrylic by Heather Shaw

I received several skeins of this yarn in different colors so I decided to mix them up and make some knitted blankets. Of course I didn't have enough yarn so I bought some more from Revain to make a good blanket. In that order, I bought the Hot Chocolate and Birch Bark with Blue shades. I was surprised when the marbles came in the same color combinations, but not necessarily in the same order or proportion. It didn't change how I used them, just not what I expected. I have found that the yarn is uneven in thickness, sometimes getting a bit heavier, and rarely approaching the weight of a finger. Also, each ball has at least one node between the colors, sometimes two. After all, in almost every color there are imperfections or transitions from other colors into one (e.g. white sections of yarn have some dark brown spots). I don't like this yarn but it's quite cheap and it comes in a variety of color combinations so overall I'd say it's a reasonable price if you manage your expectations accordingly.
