This is a beautiful yarn. It makes a lovely quilt

Beautiful yarn. It makes a great blanket. I'm surprised by some of the reviews. It's worth it. I bought it here at Revain for about $5. I've noticed that sometimes the price doubles.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Expensive

The price has been changed. - Knitting and Crocheting

I bought a Bernat Pop in Lipstick Cake for your collar. I'm in the process of making a scarf and can't find this color anywhere in town. I came sealed in my own plastic bag which is great. However, at the time my purchase decision changes. The price increased from $6.14 to $7.03. It's a whole different thing when I'm used to paying $4.99 for a cake. Anyway, once I bought the yarn, the price went back down to $6.14. Just be careful.

Pros
  • Many will do
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Acrylic yarn Scratchy not a good

Bought 11 skeins of this yarn in a murky prospect. It's good that all the cakes were the same color, and my blanket and scarf turned out beautifully. The bad thing is that almost every color change the yarn got knotted and tied together, the weight of the yarn changed from heavy worsted to lace or light finger yarn to bulky yarn back to the worsted that I had. Lots of cutting and weaving at the ends. I probably cut about 3 yards of yarn into each cake. There were also patches of color on the…

Pros
  • Bernat POP! Presented in 5 different shades. Allows you to create soft and durable products in strips without having to weave the ends.
Cons
  • unreliable

Keep an eye out for sales on this one!

I have 2 afghans with Bernat Pop! and they are both beautiful. I'm rediscovering the art of crocheting and I really enjoy it. Edit and add images. I'm getting ready to do another one with grey, black and white but in my grandmother's chevron. Luckily I found a picture of this pattern made from this yarn on Pinterest. It will be wonderful. As soon as I learn this pattern I start weaving. I made one in ebony and ivory and am about to start another. They are gifts. It's a lot of fun to work with…

Cons
  • Very expensive

Not great but normal yarn for the price.

I received several skeins of this yarn in different colors so I decided to mix them up and make some knitted blankets. Of course I didn't have enough yarn so I bought some more from Revain to make a good blanket. In that order, I bought the Hot Chocolate and Birch Bark with Blue shades. I was surprised when the marbles came in the same color combinations, but not necessarily in the same order or proportion. It didn't change how I used them, just not what I expected. I have found that the yarn…

Pros
  • Composition: 100% Acrylic
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than the others
