CPU fan with curved fins

I received it today and it came with a lot of curved fins as you can see in the picture. Performance updates as I finish my new build with the new upcoming "Threadripper 3" 3960X CPU. Update: Pros - Looks good, good quality fans .CPU temp readings on LCD do not match Ryzen master app and are between 3-15C or update very slowly AMD OC "Precision Boost Overdrive" , the temperature reached 95Β°C during Cinebench R20 and this cooler could NOT keep it cool. This cooler for the new Threadripper 3000 is only good for simple stuff, but if you have demanding workloads it will struggle and you don't want to be at 95c. I strongly recommend another cooler for the new threadrippers. I bought the Noctua NH-U14 myself S TR4-SP3 and it works much better with PBO enabled, my temperature reached 85 degrees on Cinebench R20 which is much better than the Aorus AIO liquid cooler. 360. Manual overclocking is a different story for both coolers. I tried 4.3GHz at 1.35V (maybe 1.4V, I forgot) on my Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 and it reached 100C, so I would recommend a custom loop. in this case. However, I've never tried this on an Aorus cooler, the Aorus cooler couldn't handle AMD OC PBO anyway, so manual overclocking with an Aorus cooler is out of the question. In addition, the fans are very noisy at high speeds and the temperature readings on the LCD screen are not 100% accurate and differ from what is indicated in the Ryzen Master app. Sometimes the readings were off by 3-15 degrees and the LCD temperature readings updated very slowly. So I wouldn't trust them 100% and that's more due to aesthetics.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • too dumb
