I bought this for my 1950's house I just purchased this summer because we kept feeling a draft coming from upstairs down into the living room. The house has 6 zones - it's insanity - and no one ever goes upstairs except me because my office is up there, so I've been keeping the temperature lower at 62 degrees. Figured I'd give this curtain a try in an attempt to keep the warmer 68 degree air downstairs in the main living area. And let me tell you. IT WORKS. For $13, I'm impressed. I was going to buy one for double the price so I'm glad I didn't. Honestly, it does look like Dexter and that there's something suspicious going on upstairs, but it's totally fine if I'm saving money on my heating bill. Super easy to install. I didn't use the nails because my walls are plaster and we're gonna gut upstairs anyway, so I just used the sticky part on the velcro. It keeps unsticking in some spots, but the curtain still stays up regardless and keeps the air locked in/out. I just repress it on whenever I go up there. Long story short, if you don't mind looking like there's a serial killer in the area you're blocking out. buy it!
