I recently bought a lighter 11lb top tripod with a ball head but it didn't hold 5lbs consistently so I bought a ball head with a larger one Capacity that fits on the base tripod. Artcise 40mm was the best capacity for the money so I went with it. So far he has held my Sony camera with all the lenses I have put on him. So now I can carry around more or more lenses with a camera and a lighter tripod instead of lugging around a much heavier Manfrotto. That means I can go further and shoot more. Thanks Artis!
