As egg incubators for the first time, we learned a lot. We hatched 9 eggs. Of the 9, 6 hatched, 2 developed but did not grow and 1 did not fertilize. It's a great incubator and we've had success, but if you add 9 eggs there won't be enough room for them to hatch. You need a brooder or incubator with humidity control. Also, all eggs should be laid pointed side down. Some of us were turned over during the process and eventually broke. This makes it extremely difficult for the chick to hatch on its own. I wish there was a little more information on when to increase humidity (what percentage) and when to decrease temperature (temperature) for hatching. good product with high success rate for our first try.
