Bought to recover from a broken ankle, not for personal use. Pros: Decent design and materials at a reasonable price. Can help a little with sports. High anterior mobility and moderate lateral mobility - when mobility is an issue Cons: Open Heel - Opening at top cuts into Achilles tendon and creates a "bony" heel. Too much mobility, not enough stiffness for ankle/high foot injuries or rehabilitation. Should cover a large stroke length. A bit bulky for some shoes. Support rather than "bracket". Support is not Tier III. The product can be used to support people with a 'flat' (normal?) Achilles tendon/heel rather slightly than those with bones.
