As some others have said about these filters this is not the same as the original filter that came with the vacuum cleaner. The filter has about half the pleats of the Eureka, and you can see light through the filter if you hold it up to a window. Maybe it's a real HEPA filter, maybe as good as the Eureka filter, but I'm skeptical. At the same time, there are no allergy sufferers in the house, so that HEPA is definitely not needed for around 1 hour. +2 the cost of the original, probably still worth buying.
