I used three cups of flour and kneaded an enriched dough. The car sped through. The engine didn't overwork at all, even at slightly higher revs. Of course, the sides had to be scraped off until all the ingredients were mixed, but after that the dough kneaded very well. I'm sure the cakes, cookies and spanking will go well. The brackets are all made of metal and make a very solid impression. The suction cups keep it securely on the countertop and the machine runs fairly quietly. If the machine lasts long then that's a steal as it costs a fraction of KA products. For the home cook this is a great machine and I would recommend it.
