Bought to replace my outdated 4 camera system I originally had. After unpacking the items from the box, the CD that came with it was a blank, rewritable CD labeled with software and manuals. A hard drive scan found malware in a device finder tool which I contacted them about - they sent me a link to their website to re-download the software but it didn't work when I tried. I finally managed to get the system working using the software on the phones. I installed the software for desktop use and it was fairly easy for me to navigate and operate the cameras, however when accessing the device directly via the IP address I was never able to get images from the camera and always gave me a message to install the plugin. to make it work. No matter how many times I downloaded the plugin, it still didn't work. After playing around with the settings in several different browsers - Chrome, Edge, Firefox browsers, etc., I still couldn't get it to work like that. I ended up downloading an obscure browser that would allow me to bypass security to make it work (k-meleon). not really plug and play with current secure browsers via direct connection. The system actually works quite well, much smoother playback than the last system I had, lack of good browser support which is why I flagged it along with the malware being shipped.
