Review on CERWIN CVP2000 1D Monoblock Class D Amplifier by Wayne Seba

This is a good amp at a good price but looks aren't everything. I had high hopes for him. But after comparing it to a 2500W Power Acoustik 2ohm monoblock amp I have to say I'm disappointed. I was really hoping it would top it because it advertises a solid 1000 RMS watts, plus its Cerwin Vega I figured the name still carried weight. but it didn't beat the Power Acoustic at all. In fact, IMO, it didn't even come close. The Power Acoustic clearly hits MUCH harder and is undoubtedly smaller. I ended up returning this amp and leaving PA. It was tested on a 15" DS18 subwoofer in a custom box.
