I had to replacing my ever-disappearing cutlery and was looking for a cheaper option as my kids tend to throw away a lot of forks and spoons. I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of this cutlery. It does not bend when scooping ice. Appearance is brilliant. The dessert forks are smaller than the salad forks that come with some sets, but they work well for my young kids. Withstands hand washing or washing in the dishwasher. Stainless steel is embossed on the back, but any metal can rust if not properly cared for. I haven't had any rust on this set. I was impressed that there were steak knives which are rarely seen. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the set given the reasonable price.
