Review on Fiebing’s Edge Kote, 4 Oz. - 🖤 Enhance Leather Edges with Color Coating - Black by Sasha Hsiao

Pretty good product. I bought this on the recommendation of a youtube video to fix a new wallet with a large hole. My wallet is made out of some sort of polyurethane faux leather fabric but was covered around the edges with a matte black "skin layer" where the edge tore and a small split broke through in one place. I patiently applied the product to the slot with the tip of a paperclip, applied more product to the filled slot, gently smoothed it out with a nail file and reapplied, and the purse looks almost new - you don't realize it's ever broken was! My only caveat is that this product is a bit glossier than the description suggests, meaning if you apply it over a matte black edge like I did, you might see a slight contrast between the matte and gloss edges. Just a note. Also, just to be on the safe side, make sure it dries overnight between coats, otherwise it might react like barely dry nail polish that bends when it touches something.
