I got this to use my gaming headset with a PC and PS4 connected to a USB switch. It works great and has pretty decent sound quality for under ten bucks. However, in Windows 10 it is limited to DVD quality at 48000 Hz. This adapter also supports several Windows 10 enhancements such as bass boost, volume equalization, and virtual surround sound that improve audio quality. Not as good as the headphone jack on my computer, but the USB convenience is worth it.
