Do not purchase this table to play vinyl records. Only buy if you need a cool prop, say to put your house up for sale. The sound quality is absolutely terrible, the build quality is just as bad. Feels and sounds like a toy. And it's not just the built-in speakers that sound terrible, you get the same poor sound quality when you plug it into an external powered speaker. I was hoping Audio Technica's needle would help with sound quality, but it doesn't. I didn't know AT made crappy record needles, but that's what you get with that bad turntable excuse. To be honest I'm worried this thing will ruin my records, the only reason I'm keeping it is for props.
