Review on 🔒 Apexstone Soft Close Lid Support: Ensuring Safety and Convenience with Soft Down Lid Hinge (Set of 2) by Edwin Kreps

I wanted a little support for the lid of my son's toy box and was a little unsure of which stand to use. I've seen some conflicting reviews about it, especially regarding the installation, so I was hesitant but went to them first anyway. Installing both racks took about 20 minutes. I could probably just install one and be done, but the lid is quite heavy and I was afraid it would pop if it ever failed. Installation was easy. For what it's worth, the hardest part of this was converting the measurements in the instructions from millimeters to inches. I set them so that the lid stays open just over 90* and still slowly closes fully, so pinched fingers shouldn't have much force behind it. If you just close it, it takes more than 5 seconds for the lid to close, which is great. Even with just the first spacer installed, it closed a little faster, but still at a relatively safe speed for my application.
