Review on 🚴 BELL Formula MIPS Helmet: Ultimate Protection for Road Bike Enthusiasts by Adam Rogers

Switched to this helmet from the Giro Monza and was concerned that a slight reduction in vents would mean less ventilation but actually found it a bit cooler. Having ridden it for 350 miles in 80-90°C I can safely say it is also much more comfortable. The padding wicks sweat better and the fit system doesn't press on the temple like the Monza does. The Monza was a more expensive helmet but the weight is exactly the same and it meets the advertised specs. The overall size is more compact on the outside, but the interior blends in perfectly. I can't say I've tested the MIPS system and hopefully never have to, but for me it was a must have in a new helmet. I also love that they wrapped the bottom edge of the helmet in plastic to protect it when I store it between rides. Overall I really like this helmet and I think it's worth what you get.
