If you are not sure which size to choose: small or medium, just choose the small one. I'm 5ft 7in, 128lbs, long torso and was surprised at how far my butt protruded past my navel. Not what I expected but still nice. I wore them to the electric woods this year and they were amazing. I'll wear them to the beach and what not. I feel the top strings are useless because there isn't much space between these strings and the bottom strings, I can cut them. Closes in front. I've never worried about giving free shows to a whole bunch of swag
