Review on πŸ”© Grip Rite Prime Guard MAXC62876 15D 2" SS SIDING Nail: Premium Quality Construction Fastener by Josh Koa

The nails look great but they caused a lot of jams in my bostitch.

The nails look great but my Bostitch siding nailer is holding up really well because of it. After going through about 7,000 Bostitch brand side nails on a large Hardie Plank wall panel, I needed a few more to complete the job. I bought these because they were a decent price and about the right amount of nails for my needs. I've had virtually no problems or jams with over 7000 Bostitch nails. However, the Grip Rite nails stick every 5-10 nails because something in the bottom wire holding the coil together is causing the Bostitch gun to not always cut the wire when fired. This will cause a long, loose wire to grow inside the gun, which will eventually be sucked into the channel that the nail pin goes through, jamming the pin. It seems the only way to prevent this is to open the gun every 5-7 nails and cut off the excess wire by hand. I think going forward I'll stick with Bostitch nails and maybe decide to just ditch the Grip Rite nails if I'm too disappointed.
