I was trying to use a USB headset with my oculus qusts2 but unfortunately the USB audio blocked it so it's not good. The USB control worked with the headset, e.g. but the sound is too much, but the cable fulfills its purpose, since the button signals are routed correctly. The problem is that it almost melted. Now the headset I used is powerful (USB powered after all) and the headset charges like a phone when in use. Plug it into a 30W USB-C charger, the case on the cable port exceeded 100C before I realized it. It looks solid and hasn't caught fire, but it will burn and brand you if you touch it. It's a bit of a problem when there are cheap phones that need to be charged at 65W. TLDR. Only use this for low power (10W) applications.
