My toddlers room has a window to the street and I wanted something that would offer some privacy from people walking past the house. For safety reasons, I didn't want to install blinds or blackout curtains. Do not pay attention to the negative reviews about this product! I tried to do too much in the top window and tweaked it a bit (totally my fault) but the installation was very easy and only took a few minutes. Not only does it completely close off the room from your eyes, but it also keeps the room cool in the evenings when the sun shines directly through its window. Even at night, with the lights on, you only see vague silhouettes looking out the window. This makes the room a little darker, but lets in a lot of light. The colors are bright and vibrant and the texture more closely resembles a real stained glass window. No one will mistake it for stained glass, but it's beautiful and perfect for us until she grows up.
