Very smooth, good tips and the paracord threads tie easily and strongly. I'm not used to using it yet (cut cord too short) so I had to add a bit of hollowed cord. Cut off a piece or use leftovers and pull out the inner strands. Use the lining to open the sleeve and melt the ends to reinsert the lining to keep the opening wide. Then melt and form too short a point on the working cable. Insert into the hollowed out cord, melt some and push in, twist, melt, push in, repeat. Once you've incorporated it into your project, give it a good pull and it will fall apart if you haven't melted it too much, otherwise just cut it off. Hope that helps.
