I bought this brush a month ago because I was tired of my scalp getting scratched and irritated by the stiff bristles on my plastic brush. The brush has a core of natural bristles with a sprinkling of longer flexible nylon bristles that have blunt tips. The longer bristles help to detangle wet hair but don't scratch your scalp. I have short hair that I style with the ends flipped under, and this brush works great for styling with my blow dryer. My hair looks nice, and the brush feels good on my scalp. Also, the brush comes with a little tool that you can use to remove hair from the natural bristles. I took 1 point off because the handle is kind of cheap-looking, but I would definitely buy this brush again.
