Review on 🚿 Experience a Luxurious Shower with Moen S1004 Collection 12-Inch Razor Thin Rainshower Shower Head in Chrome by Manuel Brown

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well made, looks good, but definitely more rain than a shower

Rain shower heads have become very popular, very quickly, and now they are starting to wane a bit. The popularity is understandable. Who doesn't want to stand under a warm rain shower? The decline is due to the fact that warm rain isn't the best tool for massaging tired muscles or rinsing shampoo out of long hair. For that reason I used a "splitter" to add this shower head to my existing one. This worked well, although I found the water pressure to be too low on both, so now I have to decide. It also made comparison easier for this review. Note that even if you don't do this, unless you have a pipe coming straight out of the ceiling, you'll need to buy an extension to move the beam up and over your head. The shower head itself is heavy and well made. It has a small hinge at the top so you can steer it a bit if you need to. However, don't expect the water to flow where it's directed as the pressure is quite low due to the large number of jets. It will go straight down due to gravity wherever the nozzle is. Shampoo removal is definitely an issue. I wear my hair very short, but if it were longer, the raincoat alone would not do. Because it takes a long time. Actually, it's not for that. I like to just stand (or sit) under the dishes after washing the dishes and let the water wash over me. In this case it's excellent. A warm rain shower is good. The costs are insanely high. However, it is well built. It's super thin and the outside is mirror polished so well I thought it was glass at first. How much it costs you depends on your personal choice. As long as you know what you are getting I don't think you will be disappointed with this product.
