Good news first. These are by far the best reusable gloves I've found for working with stone and cutting pavers. The Grip is excellent and cushioning is good.I was afraid my hands wouldn't survive my decking project but they almost eliminated the hand pain I was suffering from. Now that's why I didn't give them five stars. As mentioned here and another version of this glove the stitching doesn't match the quality of the materials. The stitching on the fingertips started to unravel within a few hours. The grip material itself lasted a day and a half before it started to wear out.Luckily they hold up well enough that several turns of tape around the defective finger seams the use of the glove hs extended to about 30 hours. BTW, the elastic on the cuff isn't tight enough to hold all the debris. At least the least it stops the most and does not restrict. Eventually they become "disposable" and quite expensive at this price point. Reducing the abuse my hands take is worth the money to me, so I plan on buying more. I have high hopes for them when it comes to preparing firewood for the winter.
