I bought these first because I've tried several other plastic key cases that didn't last long. My other keycaps were discolored and cracked or fell apart. I love these leather key cases way more than I thought! I've never thought about improving the key's usability, but the leather is very pleasant to the touch and I can easily find the house key in the dark. The keycaps are a bit bulky, so I don't use them on every key I have. They do add a bit more space between keys, however, and this can help reduce the ringing that a set of keys can cause. The olive green color was my favorite from this set and after about a year of use the skin turned to swamp gray but I still love it! It's like an expensive purchase when all I really need is a keycap or two. I gave away some key cases to friends but also saved a lot of money as I didn't have to buy more key cases because these leather cases are really durable. I was a bit concerned about the stitching on some of the covers and I was worried they would come loose but so far I haven't had any issues.
