ALWAYS nice when a product works as advertised. Setup was easy. I spent most of my time thinking about what commands I want to record. The effect was immediate. In two days we have already curbed our pit bull's tendency to jump on furniture, bark unpleasantly, and chew on things not meant to be chewed. We use this in conjunction with the clicker to reinforce positive behavior. The collar is of good quality and comfortable. If you are considering getting a dog, you must invest in dog training. The cost of this collar saves money on formal training. There are also many videos on You Tube on proper collar training. I only had to use the shock setting twice. Most of the time, hearing commands from the collar or feeling the vibration was enough to curb the negative behavior. Update 09/12/20: The clip on the device is broken. I used a tie to attach the collar to the device. So far it makes a pretty solid impression.
