The dirty solution stays in the glass, which is easier to clean than the tank. Also, you can store different jars depending on what solution you plan to use. I like to use empty tomato sauce jars. They contain a lot of detergent and are made of glass, which should transmit ultrasonic waves more efficiently. Be careful when using glass jars. I do it, but that doesn't mean you should do it.
