I don't like people with shoes in my house. It was a bit strange that they tried to sit at the entrance to put on and take off their shoes. Also, there was nowhere to store more than a couple or two. You can store 2-3 pairs on one shelf and tier below. I'm a BIG guy and was concerned about the durability of this bench; it's strong enough to hold me. I recommend only to those who have a small hallway or living room. It's quite small, so it will look strange in a big house. There was an issue with one of the mounting holes not being aligned. I had to make some adjustments to complete the build. It ended up going too far and the marker is visible above. He turned him over and put him on his back so he couldn't be seen. Doesn't affect use and how cheap it is, didn't send it back. Moderate your expectations and you will be satisfied with it.
