I am really impressed with the quality of Leda's cold-pressed watercolor paper. While I've tried many different types of paper, I don't think I've used one as well since I bought my last Arches watercolor pad. It's not a block, but a good, thick, cold-pressed cotton rag. It has a light texture and holds color well. I was a bit hesitant to work wet like I usually do because it's not a block, but it didn't bleed through and the texture made the color fairly controllable (I'm just saying that because of the amount of water I use). I kept my last block of Arches because they are very expensive but this paper comes really close, absolutely a steal at this price. I will buy while it is available.
