Driving my 1993 Chevy S10 pickup, I smelled the familiar smell of antifreeze leaking. Of course, when I stopped, I noticed an antifreeze leak under my engine block. I realized it wasn't one of my hoses and it could be coming from one of the freeze plugs. I didn't want to use my AAA so I researched and spoke to my mechanic. He recommended STOP THE LEAK. I found Pep Boys nearby and saw several products claiming the same to stop leaks. I bought PRESTONE Engine Block Leak Prevention for $11. I followed the instructions by first placing the pellets in the radiator and then pouring the two liquids in at the same time. Following the instructions, I started the car for at least 20 minutes and the leak stopped completely. While there is no problem, this is only a temporary fix, but it saves me time and also saves me from using a tug. I highly recommend this product!
