This scale works as it should and is so stylish I want to keep it on my counter. Easy to clean/disinfect. My only problem and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the battery drains quickly. Some things I did to alleviate this was to hold down the zero button after each use to turn the scale off as I have noticed that it stays on for a very long time after each use and I get everything, what I need. I plan to weigh myself before turning on the scale. But make sure you stock up on AAA batteries, if you're weighing all your groceries every day, you're going to need them!
