I had an old worn out stock muffler which I ended up cutting off. I liked the sound without the silencer, but it lost a lot of power, especially on the bottoms. Bought this damper based on good reviews. The muffler arrived earlier than expected and matches the stock pipes perfectly and sounds fantastic. The sound is the same as without the silencer, just a little quieter. It's quieter than I expected at first, but has gotten a little louder in the last month or so. Overall I am very happy with this product, I would recommend it to anyone who wants the best performance with a nice deep rumble. 2003 Chevrolet 2500HD 6.0L
